What is 'Home Staging'?
"The way you live in your home and the way I market and sell your house are two different things!" Home Staging prepares a home for sale. It transforms your 'home' to a 'house' which becomes a 'marketable product'. As an Accredited Staging Professional and Interior Decorator; my creativity, knowledge, and seller's belongings achieve this goal. I 'clear the clutter' and define each room for its true purpose. "If you can't see it, you can't sell it!!"
Buyers sometimes cannot envision a home when it is empty and unfurnished. I can furnish the house with furniture, accessories, and plants to show off each room's potential. "Buyers only know what they see and not the way it's going to be!"
Staged homes typically sell faster and for more money. The average length of time potential buyers visit 'Open Houses' is 6-9 minutes. Staged homes 40 minutes. The home is now pleasing to the eye and senses. Home Staging reduces the number of negative objections by the buyer.
'Let me tell you how I work'! For all my new listings, you receive a 'free' consultation and recommendations to stage your home to sell. This process takes approximately 2-3 hours. I walk through the home room by room making notes, moving furniture and accessories. For others, the fee is $249.00. Many times this is enough to get your home staged! But if I do have additional recommendations, I can do as little or as much as you want. You may do all the work yourself, hire me, or someone else to do it.
